Q. What hours is Gosford Hobbies open?
A. Shop hours are 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 4pm Saturdays and 10am to 3pm Sundays. We can stay open a bit on special request by appointment, so if you are running late or coming from out of town just contact us and let us know.

 

Q. Where is Gosford Hobbies located?
A. We are located just across from Brian Hilton Toyota on Brooks Avenue just off the Pacific Highway in Wyoming. We are just minutes from the Gosford CBD and train station, and only 15 minutes off the Pacific Highway. Our store is very easy to spot, as it's the only building around that has an airplane fuselage sticking out of the roof!

 

Q. Do you do special orders and laybys?
A. Absolutely! There is just a $2 fee for layby sales and for all special orders a deposit is required. Sorry, but we do not do laybys on special orders.

 

Q. What is your policy when it comes to refunds?

Q. Does Gosford Hobbies have any job vacancies?
A. Not at this present time, but we are always on the lookout for casual staff who are right into their hobbies. If that's you, just drop in and have a chat with us next time you're in making a purchase.

 

Q. Will you ship hobby gear to other parts of the country or the world?
A. No problem! We have regular customers in South Africa, and have shipped as far as Greenland.

 

Q. I need help making models look good - can Gosford Hobbies help?
A. Yes, and we actually have our own Modelling Club where you can get together with other modellers and share ideas and pick up info from some of the best on the coast.

 

Q. I'd like to play war games but don't have anyone to play with. Do you know of anywhere I can find a game.
A. Right here! We have a club where beginners and experienced gamers can meet and battle it out. Check out the War Games League page for more information.

 

Q. Do you provide assistance with other hobbies?
A. Yes, we can help with train layouts, doll house construction and general specialist military advice. Sorry, but if you're just having trouble with a jigsaw you're on your own!

 

Q. Can you help with architectural modelling for students and professionals?
A. Yes, we have a full range of architectural modelling supplies and materials with brands from Evergreen, K & S Metals, Plastistruct, and a wide variety of balsa wood. Trees, figures and scenery are also always available. Great for school projects, university assignments and professional architects.
